Sonbarsa. The police of Sarlahi district in Nepal has busted a racket of international counterfeit currency traders. Police raided a house built for irrigation near Dashwani village in Sarlahi district on the information of counterfeit currency being made. This arrest was made when preparations were being made to print Nepali and Indian currency and send it to the market.
At the same time, Nepal Police conducted a raid and arrested eight people. These include two people from Sitamarhi district. The arrested people include Rajiv Thakur alias Pappu from Bairgania water tank area under Sitamarhi district of Madhubani, Suvodh Kumar from Majorganj ward eight, Saugat Thapa Magar from Chandragiri, Kathmandu, Nepal, Kageshwari Manohara Vijay Lama. Apart from this, Janardan Singh from Sarlahi Goraita Madhubani, Vishal Rai from Narai Toll Rautahat, Sanjay Rana Magar from Lalitpur Kupandol and Amir Khatri from Bhaktapur Changunarayan are also included. Sarlahi police said that 14 bundles of paper cut in the shape of a thousand rupee note, 8 liters of chemicals of many colors, 95 thousand 805 Nepalese rupees, ten mobiles, bikes with numbers BR 6 BS 6857, BR 30 T 5243 and a Scorpio with Nepalese number have been seized. Police are interrogating the accused and many more revelations are expected from them.
