After winning the presidential election, Donald Trump has selected his cabinet colleagues for many big posts. Even veteran industrialist Elon Musk has been given special responsibility by Trump. Meanwhile, Trump has selected a 27-year-old woman who played an important role in the election campaign as the White House Press Secretary.
Caroline Levitt becomes White House Press Secretary
Actually, Trump has chosen his campaign spokesperson Caroline Levitt as press secretary. Trump said in a statement that Leavitt has proven to be smart, tough and an extremely effective communicator. I am confident that she will perform brilliantly on stage and help deliver our message to the American people.
Trump praised the youngest press secretary
According to experts, Levitt is the youngest person to hold this important post, who will work as the face of the White House and answer the questions of the media. Leavitt was serving as national press secretary during Trump’s campaign and gave birth to her first child in July, before the election.
Levitt has also contested elections
After serving as Trump’s assistant press secretary during his first term, she ran for the House of Representatives from her home state of New Hampshire in 2022, but lost.
She has also served as communications director for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who has been nominated by Trump to be United Nations Ambassador.
Kennedy Jr was chosen as minister
On Friday, Trump appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Kennedy is a member of America’s famous political family. His father Robert F. Kennedy had been the Attorney General of the United States while former President John F. Kennedy was Robert Jr.’s uncle.
At the same time, Trump has made North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum the America’s Home Minister. 70-year-old Robert Jr. is a lawyer by profession and is identified as an environmentalist. He proved the false propaganda regarding the vaccine wrong due to which a large number of people used it and got health benefits.
