Dhaka. 9 cases were registered against former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday. Since the formation of the new government in the country, 31 cases have been registered against her so far. These include 26 murders, 4 massacres and one kidnapping case. Mufti Haroon Izhar Chaudhary, secretary of Hefazat-e-Islam, an organization of Bangladesh, has filed a complaint against Hasina in the International Crimes Tribunal. According to the complaint, Hefazat-e-Islam activists were protesting in Dhaka on 5 May 2013 demanding a law against blasphemy. During this, the police used force on the violent crowd. 27 people were killed in this. After 11 years, a case of massacre has been registered against Hasina in this case. Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wajid Joy, daughter Saima Wajid Putul and sister Sheikh Rehana have also been made accused in this. Apart from these, a complaint has been filed against Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former minister Rashid Khan Menon, former army chief Aziz Ahmed and 23 other people close to Hasina.
