Vijayawada. Due to heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, a landslide occurred in Mughalrajapuram area, in which 4 people died. It is being told that due to the landslide in Mughalrajapuram area of Vijayawada, big stones fell on the houses of the deceased.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the landslide victims.
An official statement said, a landslide occurred in Mogalrajapuram in Vijayawada, killing four people. CM Naidu expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
The CM directed officials to shift people away from landslide-prone areas as heavy rains are predicted in the next two to three days.
