Bhopal . Seven tribal hostages from Khatpura village of Shahganj in Sehore district have been rescued from Morbi in Gujarat. They will reach their home by Monday night. These seven tribal labourers who had gone to Gujarat were kept hostage.
A contractor named Rameshwar had taken these workers to Morbi in Gujarat on a salary of Rs 17,000 per month. After that, these people were being made to work as hostages in Morbi. This matter came to light when a tribal worker made a video and sent it secretly.
This is the constituency of Union Minister Shivraj Singh. As soon as the information was received, Collector Sehore sent SDM and Tehsildar to Budhni. Information was obtained by finding out the mobile numbers of the labourer families. The Morbi administration of Gujarat was informed about the hostage taking. After that these tribal labourers were freed. The Morbi district administration released them and sent them back.
