8 High Courts including Delhi, Kerala and Jharkhand get new Chief Justice

New Delhi . The central government has issued a notification for the appointment of Chief Justices of 8 High Courts. According to Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, the names of Chief Justices have been recommended for Delhi, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Meghalaya and Madras High Courts.
Sharing the post on Instagram, the Union Minister wrote, “Using the powers conferred by the Constitution of India, the President appoints/transfers the following Chief Justices of the High Courts.” Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has informed that Justice Manmohan, Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, is appointed as the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court. Justice Rajiv Shakdhar, Judge of Delhi High Court, has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court. Similarly, Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, Judge of Delhi High Court, and Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherjee, Judge of Calcutta High Court, has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
