9 year old Preesha Chakraborty has hoisted the flag of India in America.
This Indian-American schoolgirl has been included in the list of the world’s most talented students by the prestigious Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
Chakraborty was included in this list based on the results of the examination of more than 16,000 students in about 90 countries. According to a media release issued on Monday, Preesha is a student of Warm Spring Elementary School in Fremont, California.
She appeared for the examination of the US-based Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in the summer of 2023 as a grade three student.
More than 16,000 students from more than 90 countries around the world had taken the exam, the statement said. Going through this tough competition, Preesha Chakraborty made her place in this list.
She scored excellently on the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test), ACT (American College Testing), and School and College Ability Test.
She aced more such exams as part of the CTY Talent Search. Chakraborty has been honored for his exceptional performance in various examinations.
Every year less than 30 percent students are able to qualify this examination.
