Earlier, in view of the threat of Corona, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had held a meeting with the Health Ministers of all the states and union territories.

In the meeting, Mandaviya had advised all the state governments to be on alert and keep politics away.

Mandaviya had said that mock drills should be conducted in hospitals every three months, maximum corona testing should be done and positive samples of corona should be sent to the lab of the center so that it can be found out whether these new variants are of JN.1. !

Advisory for people in Chandigarh
In view of the increasing threat of Corona, Chandigarh administration has issued an advisory for the people. The administration has advised to avoid crowded areas as much as possible.

Be sure to wear a mask in public places. Apart from this, it will also be mandatory for attendants, doctors and other hospital staff to wear masks in hospitals.

Consult doctors even if you have a cold or minor viral infection because this will minimize the risk of spreading the disease. The administration has asked people to cooperate with the government and remain alert instead of panicking.

Three more died in Kerala, active cases in the country 2669
According to Union Health Ministry data, 358 fresh cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours on Thursday. With this the number of active patients has increased to 2669.

The cases have mainly been reported from Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. The increase in cases has come amid the arrival of the new variant of Corona, JN.1.

The total death toll in Kerala rose to 5,33,327 with three deaths in a span of 24 hours, according to the data updated at 8 am.

Fear of new variants of Corona
The new variant of Corona, JN.1, is wreaking havoc on many countries around the world. This variant was first detected in Singapore. After this, this variant made many people sick in America and China also.

There are queues of sick people in hospitals. At the same time, recently this variant knocked in India with one case in Kerala also. Now this variant has spread to Maharashtra and Goa. 19 cases of new variants have been found in these two states.

At the same time, there has been a tremendous increase in Corona cases across the country. Corona cases have doubled in nine days. WHO has also classified this variant and included it in the variant of interest category.

Although the organization has said that there is no need to panic about this variant, it is spreading rapidly but the incidents of death are very less. It is claimed that the existing vaccine in the market is effective to some extent against this new variant.
