To meet its needs, Pakistan is surviving by taking loans from who knows how many people. Now, to repay these loans, Pakistan is putting the burden of expenses on its innocent common people.
Recently, Pakistan had increased the electricity bill, after which the general public came on the streets. There was an outcry in Pakistan over the electricity bill and possibilities of civil war were beginning to appear there.
But Pakistan is not learning from its mistakes and is continuously seen oppressing the common people.
Pakistan put debt on its own people
Now once again Pakistan has issued an order to its people to pay higher bills.
According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Pakistan’s National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in electricity prices by 1.15 Pakistani rupees (PKR) per unit.
NEPRA has decided to increase the price of electricity for the first quarter of 2024. This means that the people of Pakistan will have to pay the increased electricity bills for the next three months.
Electricity prices are continuously increasing in Pakistan. Pakistan has been continuously oppressing people to fill its coffers and recover from debts.
Pakistan is sometimes extorting money from the general public by increasing oil prices and sometimes by increasing electricity bills. The price of flour and rice is already skyrocketing in Pakistan.
It is becoming difficult for a common man to live comfortably in Pakistan even to arrange food for two days.
UAE felt pity for Pakistan
The shortage of money in Pakistan is such that the UAE government, taking pity on its plight, provided artificial rain for free to avoid smog and pollution. The people of Lahore were suffering from pollution and smog, hence it became necessary to make artificial rain there.
If local media reports of Pakistan are to be believed, the Pakistani government had made a plan to free people from pollution.
An expenditure of Rs 35 crore was to be incurred for this. Pakistan was waiting for its special friend China to provide artificial rain in their cities.
But instead of China, UAE caused artificial rain at 10 places in Lahore and freed the people there from pollution. According to the PTI report, UAE did not take even a single penny from Pakistan for this work.
