In the elections to be held on February 8, Hafiz Saeed’s son Talha Saeed is the candidate from National Assembly Assembly seat NA-127.

Hafiz Saeed is the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba. His organization has also been declared a terrorist organization by the United Nations. He has been in jail since 2019 after being found guilty in multiple cases.

Not only this, America has declared a reward of 10 million US dollars on him. Jamaat ud Dawa led by Hafiz Saeed, which is the front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba, is banned.

The same organization had carried out the Mumbai attacks in 2008, in which 166 people were killed. Six Americans were also among the dead.

However, while talking to news agency PTI, he denied any connection between the party and Hafiz Saeed.
