Priyanka Gandhi’s problems will increase! Name appeared in ED charge sheet; Money laundering case…

ED i.e. Enforcement Directorate has taken major action in the money laundering case.

The name of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also included in the charge sheet filed by the Central Investigation Agency. It is being said that this matter is related to a land deal in Haryana.

Recently, ED had claimed that Robert Vadra was staying in a property in London which was under investigation. Robert is the son-in-law of former Congress national president Sonia Gandhi.

The special thing is that for the first time, ED has included Priyanka Gandhi’s name in the money laundering case related to NRI businessman CC Thampi.

Earlier, the name of her husband Robert Vadra was also added to the ED chargesheet. The statement issued by the ED said, ‘Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had purchased land in Haryana through a real estate agent of Delhi. That agent had also sold the land to NRI businessman CC Thampi.

Also, ED has alleged that there is a deep relationship between Vadra and Thampi. It also talks about the involvement of common as well as business interests between the two.

Actually, the strings of this case are also linked to fugitive Sanjay Bhandari, who fled to Britain in 2016. At present, ED is investigating against him.

It is being said that the names of Thampi and British citizen Sumit Chaddha are among those who helped in this.

The chargesheet filed by the ED says, ‘The federal agency has alleged that HL Pahwa, the real estate agent who sold the land to Vadra and Thampi, had received payment from the books for the purchase of land in Haryana and Vadra had approved the deal. The full amount was not paid. Pahwa had also sold agricultural land to Priyanka Gandhi in 2006 and bought it again in 2010.

Thampi was arrested in the year 2020 and he reportedly told the investigating agency that he had known Vadra for more than 10 years.

She had also reportedly told that they had met several times during Vadra’s visit to UAE and the two had also met in Delhi.

ED said that Thampi had purchased land worth Rs 486 crore between 2005 and 2008 in Amirpur village of Haryana with the help of Pahwa.
