There is a lot of discussion on Nitish Kumar’s decision to replace Lalan Singh and become the national president himself.

The market of speculations is hot. There is also speculation about Nitish Kumar going back with BJP.

However, from the resolutions passed in the National Executive meeting of Janata Dal (United) on Friday, it can be seen that at present he seems to be in no mood to join NDA.

JDU has said in its proposal that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not interested in becoming the prime ministerial candidate from the India alliance or the convenor of the alliance.

The resolution also supports Nitish Kumar’s decision to break ties with BJP and exit NDA in 2022.

The party has also congratulated the Chief Minister of Bihar for bringing the opposition parties together in Patna.

Let us tell you that the first meeting of India Alliance was organized by Nitish Kumar in Patna in June. 15 opposition parties took part in it. At the same time, it was resolved to fight the 2024 Lok Sabha elections together and defeat the BJP.

The JDU resolution passed on Friday criticized the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that due to the actions of the central government, there is a feeling of fear, hatred and hysteria among the people.

The party accused the central government of not paying attention to the issues of the common people and said that the BJP is weakening the federal structure and constitutional institutions of the country.

It mentions the Prime Minister’s silence on sexual violence against women in Manipur and the protest by a female wrestler against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Janata Dal United also alleged that whenever issues related to minority communities, including Dalits and tribals, come up, the BJP counters it with Sanatan raga.

The Nitish Kumar-led party said the BJP wants to get rid of the Constitution drafted by BR Ambedkar and implement Manusmriti.
