World population will also set a record on January 1, know how many children are born every second…

The world’s population is also going to set a new record in the coming new year.

This year the world population increased by approximately 7.5 crores. The total global population is expected to exceed eight billion on New Year’s Day.

This information has been given in the data released by the US Census Bureau.

According to Census Bureau data, the population growth rate worldwide last year was less than one percent. By the beginning of 2024, it is estimated that 4.3 people will be born and two people will die every second across the world.

What is the condition of America’s population?
America’s population growth rate last year was 0.53 percent, which is half the growth rate worldwide. The population of America increased by 17 lakh this year and its total population will be 33 crore 58 lakh on New Year.

William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution, said that if the current pace of population growth continues through the end of this decade, the 2020s could be the slowest decade in US history in terms of population growth. In the 10-year period from 2030 to 2030, the growth rate may remain less than four percent.

World population growth has been slowing since the 1960s. It took 12 and a half years for the global population to increase from seven billion to eight billion.

But the Census Bureau says it will take 14.1 years to go from eight billion to nine billion and 16.4 years to go from nine billion to 10 billion, which could happen around 2055.

India took the lead
This year, India became the most populous country in the world, leaving China behind in terms of population. According to United Nations (UN) estimates, India’s population has crossed 142.86 crores.

The UN estimates that India’s population will continue to grow over the next three decades and will then begin to decline.

Census has not been conducted in India since 2011 and hence its exact population in the year 2023 is not known.
