Top Hamas official Saleh Arouri has died in the blast.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah group’s television station says Arouri was killed in an explosion Tuesday in a southern Beirut suburb.

Saleh Arouri, one of the founders of Hamas’s military wing, led the group in the West Bank.

Even before the Hamas-Israel war began on October 7, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had threatened to kill Arouri. Israeli officials have refused to comment on this explosion.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said four people were killed in the blast. According to this, the explosion was carried out by an Israeli drone.

An explosion rocked the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital on Tuesday evening, causing chaos in the stronghold of terrorist group Hezbollah. However, no immediate information was available about the nature of the explosion.
