Political turmoil over ED summons, what will Arvind Kejriwal do? Hemant Soren is also in trouble…

The political atmosphere has heated up regarding the summons of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to the Chief Ministers of two states, Delhi and Jharkhand.

The Chief Ministers of Delhi and Jharkhand have refused to appear before the ED, terming the summons as illegal. Whereas BJP said that they are afraid of arrest.

Opposition parties in both the states are trying to prove the ED’s action as political so that they can gain public sympathy.

The way the governments of Delhi and Jharkhand and the leaders of the ruling parties reacted to this matter on Wednesday, it has become clear that they have started preparing for the political damage and compensation for the possible action of ED. I

Therefore, before the next step of ED, some important political developments may be seen in these two states.

In the liquor policy matter, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not reach the ED office on Wednesday and wrote a letter to the ED regarding his arrangement, while his party took the lead in defense and alleged that the ED wanted to stop Kejriwal from campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, a conspiracy is being hatched to arrest him.

In the letter sent to ED in response to the notice, Kejriwal has written that there are Rajya Sabha elections in Delhi and after that he is busy in many Republic Day programs. AAP leaders tried to put ED in the dock on this matter by holding press conferences throughout the day.

Why are summons being sent again and again
Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak said that BJP wants to arrest Arvind Kejriwal to keep him away from the Lok Sabha election campaign. Delhi Government Minister Gopal Rai said that Arvind Kejriwal is neither an accused nor a witness in the case, then ED is not answering why it is sending summons again and again.

Is ED the BJP or is the BJP the ED? Delhi government minister Atishi said that ED’s summons to Kejriwal is completely illegal and politically motivated, it is an attempt to stop him from campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP wants to send opposition leaders to jail using ED-CBI before Lok Sabha elections so that India Alliance is not successful.

Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that ED sending summons to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the time of elections points towards a political conspiracy.

Despite repeated questions, ED has not clarified whether Arvind Kejriwal is being called as a witness or an accused.

Soren also wrote a letter to ED
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has also adopted almost the same strategy as the Delhi government has adopted against ED. He has also responded to the ED notice with a letter, calling it illegal. He has written that the agency is running a media trial in his case.

Before receiving the summons, its news is given to the media. In the letter, the CM has written that his political image is being tarnished through summons. Also, efforts are being made to destabilize the state. The CM has also refused to appear before the agency.

Agencies being used as weapons
The ruling ally Congress in Jharkhand has also taken the central government to task in this matter. Congress’ Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that wherever there are governments of other parties, the central agencies are used as weapons by the BJP government at the Centre.

Those who bowed down were taken with him. They became pure with Ganga water. Those who do not bow down are being continuously harassed. The same is being done in Jharkhand-Delhi.

The people of Jharkhand have given majority for five years and the government will run. Congress is with JMM.
