Claim of building temple in 16th century
Carl Rice aka Carl Rock is a resident of New Zealand, who has a YouTube channel with the same name. Carl also speaks Hindi. Two years ago, Karl had gone to Pakistan, where he made a video of this Ram temple.

According to Karl, this temple is located in Syedpur village of Pakistan. This village is in Islamabad city. Karl has claimed in his video that Lord Ram had spent some time here during his 14 years of exile.

During this time he drank water from the pond here, which is known as Ram Kund and the temple as Ram Kund Temple. Apart from this, in his video he has also claimed that Laxman Kund and Sita Kund are there.

According to Karl, this temple was built in the 16th century. It is said that a fair used to be held at this temple and devotees used to come from far and wide.

However, this tradition stopped after partition. Even the idols have been removed from inside the temple.

The temple is also mentioned in the gazetteer
The existence of Ram temple in Pakistan has also been mentioned in a BBC report. According to this report, there were three temples in Islamabad in ancient times.

One is near Syedpur village, the second near Rawal Dham and the third near Faces Dargarh of Golra. The report also states that under the Liaquat-Nehru Agreement signed in 1950, these holy places were to be given to the Refugee Property Trust.

But this did not happen. The report also mentions Professor Saad Arif of the Archeology Department of Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.

Professor Arif has collected some information from Rawalpindi Gazetteer, according to which Syedpur village was settled in the year 1848.

It also had Ram temple, Gurudwara and Dharamshala. About eight thousand people used to come here for darshan every year.

However, after partition the situation changed and all the Hindus here settled in India. After this, these places were declared enemy property and sealed.
