Israel launches strong attack in northern Gaza, Hamas command center destroyed; Now the turn of the South…

The Israeli army on Saturday completely destroyed the command center of Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip.

Army spokesperson Daniel Hagari has given this information. “We have completed the destruction of Hamas military structures in the northern Gaza Strip,” he said.

He also said that Palestinian members were now operating in the area only sporadically and without commanders. “Now our focus is on eliminating Hamas in the center of the Gaza Strip and the south of the Gaza Strip,” he said. He also said that this work will take time.

Let us tell you that after the deadliest attack on Israel in history on October 7, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had vowed to crush the Hamas rulers of Gaza.

About 1,140 people died, most of them civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official figures. According to Israel, Hamas members had taken about 250 people hostage. 132 of them are still in captivity.

At least 22,722 people have been killed in Israeli strikes so far, according to the health ministry in Hamas-run Gaza. These include most of the women and children.

Speaking about military efforts to eliminate Hamas in the central and southern Gaza Strip, Hagari said, “The refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip are overcrowded and full of terrorists. An underground network of tunnels runs through the large urban areas of Khan Yunis in the south. It takes time.”

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his government has instructed the military to eliminate Hamas, return all hostages and ensure Gaza will never again pose a threat to Israel. “The war must not stop until we achieve all the goals,” he said in a statement.
