After a long wait of 52 years, America has sent its mission to the moon.
On January 8, America successfully launched Peregrine Lander One as part of the world’s first private Moon mission.
This mission has been developed by a company called Astrobotic. Only NASA’s instruments are installed on Peregrine Lander. Apart from many scientific payloads, this vehicle has also taken with it human bones.
This mission has a deep connection with India. Indian scientists are leading the mission.
The world’s first commercial lander can land on the moon on 23 February. At present, the scientists associated with it have expressed hope that it can land on the South Pole of the Moon.
However, NASA scientists said that we have seen both the success of India’s Chandrayaan-3 and the failure of Russia’s Luna mission.
That’s why we are taking utmost care. Sharad Bhaskaran is leading this mission. He is the Mission Director at Astrobotic Technology.

NASA and Strobotic together have set out towards the moon with many things in the Peregrine lander. It also carries several scientific payloads and cultural objects.
It also includes human bones. NASA’s instrument is installed on this lander, which is going along to study the environment on the moon. All this so that it can help in NASA’s upcoming lunar mission Artemis Mission.
Who is Bhaskaran?
According to his LinkedIn profile, Bhaskaran is currently the mission director at Astrobotic Technology Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
His job is to lead a team developing a commercial robotic lunar lander designed to carry payloads to the lunar surface. He has been associated with this company for 7 years and 7 months. Before this he had worked with Lockheed Martin for 25 years.
Born in 1966, Bhaskaran is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. Bhaskaran spoke to CBS News about this mission last year. He had said, “We are thinking of doing something big here. “Hopefully, it will make Pittsburgh a space city.”
According to NASA’s own website, its mission, along with Peregrine Mission One, is to “detect water molecules on the Moon, measure radiation and gases around the lander, and evaluate the lunar exosphere (the thin layer of gases on the Moon’s surface).” To do.
