There is speculation that Udhayanidhi Stalin, who opposes Sanatan Dharma, will be promoted.
It is being said that he can be made the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. However, nothing has been officially said by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam i.e. DMK regarding this.
The opposition party in the state, AIADMK, has claimed that Udhayanidhi will also be made the CM face in 2026.
Udhayanidhi is the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
At present, he is a minister in the state government. Now in the India Today report, quoting sources, it is being said that Stalin is leaving on a foreign trip in February, after which the way will be prepared for Udhayanidhi to become the Deputy CM in the state.
There are possibilities that a big announcement may be made during the meeting to be held on January 21.
According to the report, DMK official TKS Elangovan has said that he has no information regarding Udhayanidhi becoming Deputy CM. He said, ‘There is nothing wrong in it, because he is very active. Now only the Chief Minister can decide whether he becomes the Deputy Chief Minister or not, and no one else.
Here, Udhayanidhi himself is calling it a rumour. While talking to India Today, he said, ‘Only the Chief Minister can take the decision. This is just a rumour.
AIADMK made allegations of nepotism
AIADMK spokesperson Kovai Sathyan said, ‘We have been saying this for the last one year. Ever since he (Udayanidhi) was given the ticket for the assembly elections. Later he became a minister and now Deputy Chief Minister. He will be the chief ministerial face in 2026 and this shows that DMK is the best example of dynasticism in the name of democracy.
opposition to Sanatan
During a program in September last year, Udhayanidhi had talked about ‘uprooting’ Sanatan Dharma. He had said, ‘Some things cannot be opposed.
They must be eliminated. We cannot resist dengue, mosquitoes, malaria or coronavirus. We have to root it out. Similarly, we will have to uproot Sanatan also.
