South Africa has filed a lawsuit in the World Court saying that ‘Israel has violated its obligations under the Geneva Convention. The Geneva Convention obliges countries to stop all such acts.
“South Africa’s lawsuit is a bold step in the right direction,” Colombia’s foreign ministry said in a statement. Colombia’s government of Gustavo Petro has said it hopes “that the World Court will immediately hear the case filed by South Africa and issue the requested decision without delay.”
