Suchana Seth, CEO of a Bengaluru-based startup company, is accused of murdering her own child.
Soochna Seth allegedly suffocated his four-year-old child to death while staying in a hotel in Goa.
Now the police has taken Soochana Seth to the hotel to recreate the crime scene. The police is busy solving the mystery of this murder.
Currently, Suchana Seth is in police custody for killing his own child. Information Seth has not accepted the fact of killing his son, he remains firm on his statement that he had found him dead in the morning.
The information has not yet given any satisfactory answer as to why he hid the child’s body in the suitcase.
Knife, towel and pillow found in hotel room
According to the police, these three things were recovered from the hotel where Seth was staying in Goa. Information Seth had checked in to this hotel on January 6 and stayed there till January 8.
After allegedly killing her son, Soochana Seth stuffed his body in a bag and boarded a taxi to flee to Karnataka on Monday.
According to the report, when the apartment staff went to clean the room, they found blood stains on the towels. The staff immediately informed the police.
The hotel staff told that Seth had taken a very heavy bag with him, while his son was not seen during this period.
The post-mortem report revealed that the four-year-old child was strangled to death with a piece of cloth or a pillow.
Police had earlier said that the accused might have tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and later used a towel to stop the bleeding.
When the police asked the accused about the blood, he gave it as an excuse of periods.
What was the motive for the murder?
The exact reason why the woman killed her four-year-old son has not been revealed yet, but preliminary investigation has revealed that in the ongoing divorce case from her husband, the court had ordered her to take care of her son within a week. Made him talk to his father once on video calling.
The woman was very angry and hurt after this decision. “We have got six days of police custody of the accused and we will interrogate him thoroughly,” the officer said.
Police is busy investigating
The accused is from West Bengal and told the police that she and her husband live separately and their divorce proceedings are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the police said that a crumpled note written with eyeliner on ’tissue paper’ has been recovered from the bag of accused Soochana Seth, which appears to indicate that she was worried about the custody of her four-year-old child.
A senior police officer said that this note was found in a crumpled condition in the same bag from which the child’s body was recovered. He said, “We cannot tell what is written in it but it indicates that she was worried about the custody of the child.”
