Due to operational reasons, other crew members are being arranged to operate the flight from Dhaka to Guwahati. “Passengers were informed about the update and have been provided refreshments on board the flight.”

Earlier, former Mumbai Youth Congress chief Suraj Singh Thakur, who was going to attend Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in Imphal, said in a post on Twitter that he was on a flight from Mumbai to Guwahati, but the flight was diverted. It has been done.

He wrote, “I took Indigo 6E flight number 6E 5319 from Mumbai to Guwahati. But due to dense fog the flight could not land in Guwahati. Instead, it landed in Dhaka.” He said all the passengers on board the plane crossed the international border without their passports.

The Congress leader wrote that the passengers are still inside the plane. He wrote in another post, “I have been stuck inside the plane for 9 hours now.

I left for Manipur (Imphal) for India Jodo Nyay Yatra. Let’s see when I reach Guwahati and then fly to Imphal.”
