Several events and celebrations are being organized across the world ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Meanwhile, similar news has also emerged from America.

Large hoardings of Lord Ram and his grand temple being built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh have been put up in more than 10 states of America.

From the streets to the cities of these American states, these hoardings are giving a glimpse of the sanctity of Lord Ram’s temple.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), US Chapter, in collaboration with Hindus across America, has put up over 40 billboards in 10 states. The number of billboards is increasing in other states, including Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Georgia.

Additionally, the US branch of the VHP informed that states like Arizona and Missouri will also get to witness the visual extravaganza starting Monday, January 15.

Hindu Council of America general secretary Amitabh VW Mittal told ANI, “The resounding message given by these billboards is that Hindu Americans are excited and delighted to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event.

They are eagerly waiting for the auspicious day of the consecration ceremony.” To commemorate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Hindu American community across the US has organized several car rallies and has planned many more events for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ in Ayodhya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the formal installation of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla inside the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple on January 22. Many leaders and dignitaries from all walks of life have been invited for the inauguration of the grand temple in Ayodhya.

According to temple officials, the celebrations will be held over a period of seven days, starting from January 16. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enshrine Ram Lala in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple on January 22 in the afternoon.

The Vedic rituals for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.

Earlier, a special event focused on integrating the teachings of Ramayana into today’s governance was organized at Capitol Hill in the US capital Washington, emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage in contemporary geopolitics.

According to an official release, the event ‘Ramayana Across Asia and Beyond’ was organized by HinduAction, a non-profit organization, at Capitol Hill on Wednesday and was attended by diplomats and lawmakers.

The release said the conference emphasizes the importance of cultural heritage in contemporary geopolitics. Its main message is to integrate the teachings of Ramayana into today’s governance.

Indian Ambassador to America Taranjit Singh Sandhu also attended the event. Sandhu said in a post on social media platform Glad to be a part of it.” He said, “The timeless wisdom of Ramayana transcends geographical boundaries in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.”
