Kaifiyat Express: This train goes from Old Delhi Railway Station to Azamgarh via Ayodhya. By booking a sleeper berth in this, you can sleep comfortably at night.
Farakka Express: This train connects Delhi Junction to Ayodhya Junction and runs on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Trains going from Varanasi to Ayodhya-
Jammu Tawi Express: By this train you can reach Ayodhya in 3 to 3 and a half hours.
Ganga Sutlej Express: This train reaches Ayodhya in 4 and a half hours.
Doon Express: This train will also reach you Ayodhya Junction in 3 and a half hours.
Ahmedabad Sabarmati Express: By this train you will reach Ayodhya in three to three and a half hours.

You can easily go to Ayodhya by train from Lucknow, the capital of UP. From here you can reach Ayodhya in 3-4 hours by train.
From Lucknow you can go to Ayodhya in a day and return after having darshan of Ramlala. Apart from this, Amrit Bharat Express train is being run from Anand Vihar to Darbhanga via Lucknow-Ayodhya.
At present it is running only two days a week. Train No. 15558 Amrit Bharat Express departs from Anand Vihar at 3:10 pm every Tuesday and Friday and reaches Kanpur at 8:20 pm, Lucknow at 10:10 pm and Ayodhya at 1:10 pm.
