Naveen Patnaik government has launched the project of ‘Ama Odisha, Nabeen Odisha’. According to Times of India, this scheme has been started to change the infrastructure of Puri, in which an investment of Rs 4000 crore has been made.
This project also includes 2.8 km Shri Setu. After the construction of this Shri Setu, the distance from Bhubaneswar to Jagannath Temple will be significantly reduced.
However, the most important part of this project is the corridor being built around the 12th century Jagannath temple. There is a budget of Rs 1,943 crore for this.
It will be a 75-metre heritage corridor, which will have a green buffer zone, a three-lined outer path and space for the convenience of the general public.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is also trying to brighten his image through this. Under this, a fleet of about 8000 vehicles has been prepared across the state.
On one side of these vehicles are photos of Lord Jagannath and on the other side are photos of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Biju Janata Dal intends to come to power in Odisha for the sixth consecutive time.
But for this he will have to stop BJP. In fact, in the last elections, BJD had lost 8 out of 21 Lok Sabha seats to BJP.
