Even after the Galwan clash, China tried to attack LAC twice, Indian soldiers repelled it…

After the violent clashes in Galwan Valley in June 2020, several rounds of talks have taken place between India and China.

However, no consensus has been reached between the two countries yet.

Meanwhile, news is coming that Chinese soldiers tried to attack the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh twice. However, Indian soldiers foiled their nefarious plans.

According to media reports, an officer of the Special Fort on the Sikkim border provided information about Chinese military activities for five days.

These unsuccessful attacks took place in January and November 2022, when talks were ongoing between the two countries to resolve the military standoff.

Let us tell you that the information about these intelligence operations conducted by the Indian Army soldiers came to light when the Western Command and Central Command of the Army unknowingly declared it in the citation during the investiture ceremony last week.

A video of the investiture ceremony of Western Command was uploaded on YouTube. However, it was later removed. The video of Central Command is still available on YouTube.

According to the Western Command, Chinese troops attacked a post manned by Sikh Light Infantry troops on 7 January 2022. The citation said one of the soldiers of the unit deployed there displayed extreme courage and managed to repulse the attack by engaging in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy. Four Chinese soldiers were injured in this retaliation. Their weapons were also snatched away.

The PLA had launched a similar operation at another post on 27 November 2022. Jammu and Kashmir Rifles were deployed at this post. A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) successfully led his troops in repelling the attack. During this time he also got injured.

The first attack took place in February 2021, almost a year after the withdrawal of Indian and Chinese troops from Pangong Tso. While the second confrontation took place at Patrolling Point-15 in Gogra-Hot Springs area, two months after both sides withdrew their troops. Happening in September 2022.

Two other covert operations were carried out by the Army along the LAC in eastern Ladakh. Two officers and one soldier displayed exemplary courage despite extreme risks, difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions.
