There is a tussle going on in Punjab regarding seat sharing between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party.
Meanwhile, former Congress President Pratap Singh Bajwa has taken a sharp dig at AAP leaders. He has compared Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann with German dictator Adolf Hitler.
He said that AAP leaders should remove the pictures of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh from their offices. A photo of German dictator Hitler should be placed in its place.
Not only this, he said that if you look carefully, Hitler’s picture matches that of AAP leaders.
Pratap Singh Bajwa said, ‘The first thing I would advise those people to do is to remove the pictures of Babasaheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh and put them of Hitler.’
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government also takes decisions like Hitler. Bajwa’s comments come at a time when both the parties have shown unity in the Chandigarh mayor elections.
Where elections are going to be held on Thursday. Not only this, both are trying to come together in the Lok Sabha elections in states like Delhi and Punjab. However, till now no final agreement has been reached between the two.
AAP has fielded its candidate in the Chandigarh Mayor elections, which Congress will support. Whereas Congress is fielding candidates for the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Both of them will have support from AAP.
Congress leader Pawan Bansal said, ‘AAP and Congress have come together in Chandigarh. Our aim is to not let BJP win. We have come together in the spirit of INDIA alliance.
However, the unity of Chandigarh is not showing any effect in Punjab. Here leaders from both sides are attacking each other.
Meanwhile, sources say that perhaps there will be no alliance between the two parties in Punjab. The reason for this is that both the parties consider themselves strong and the BJP against which there is talk of unity is weak in Punjab.
In such a situation, there is no point in the alliance between the first and second party. It is believed that both the parties will show their strength. There seems to be a consensus on this that whoever wins here will ultimately increase the seats of INDIA Alliance.
