After air strike on Pakistan, ‘terrorist attack’ again in Iran, military officer shot dead…

An Iranian military officer was killed a day after bombing Pakistan.

This incident occurred in the southeastern province of Iran bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan. A member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards was shot dead, Iranian news agency IRNA reported on Wednesday.

The area of Iran where this murder took place is considered very disturbed. The report said Iranian agencies were “making efforts to identify and capture the perpetrators.”

This attack took place in Sistan-Baluchistan province (territory of Iran). Sistan and Baluchistan Province or ‘Real Baluchistan’ is the second largest of the 31 provinces of Iran.

Earlier, Pakistan has warned Iran of facing ‘serious consequences’ if it carries out air strikes targeting targets associated with a Sunni terrorist organization in Balochistan province. Two children were killed and three others were injured in these attacks by Iran.

Iranian media reported that two bases of terrorist group Jaish-al-Adl in Pakistan were targeted with missiles on Tuesday.

Additionally, Pakistan on Wednesday recalled its ambassador from Iran and suspended all upcoming high-level bilateral visits.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, “Last night’s blatant and unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty by Iran is a violation of international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.” This illegal action is completely unacceptable and cannot be justified in any way.”

The situation in West Asia is already tense due to the war between Hamas and Israel, hence these attacks by Iran have further increased the concern.

“Two major bases of the Jaish-al-Dhulm (Jaish-al-Adl) terrorist group in Pakistan were specifically targeted and successfully demolished,” Iranian news agency Tasnim said.

Iran has repeatedly warned that the Jaish-al-Adl terrorist group is using Pakistani soil to attack its security forces and has bases in the border town of Panjgur in Balochistan.
