Hurt by the comment on PM Modi, took this step
Talking about his unique advertisement, the restaurant chain owner said that he came up with the idea when Maldivian ministers made derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Noida-based restaurant owner Vijay Mishra told India Today, “Through this we want to promote tourism in Lakshadweep. We launched this scheme on Saturday and the response has been very good. In NCR region itself, 10 people have taken advantage of this scheme and they have appreciated our work. Now we are planning to extend this scheme till the end of January.”
He further said, “It is not just about doing business, but about showing support to the country and its tourism sector.”
It is noteworthy that in the last two weeks, there have been reports of cancellation of many hotel bookings and flight tickets for Maldives. On the other hand, all flight tickets to Agatti Islands of Lakshadweep till March were sold out.
