Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address on the last day
An enlightenment program is being organized for the newly elected members of Chhattisgarh Assembly.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate a two-day enlightenment program starting from January 20 to give information about the functioning of the Assembly and parliamentary procedures to the newly elected members of the Sixth Assembly of Chhattisgarh.
In the final session on the first day of the enlightenment program, Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will address the newly elected MLAs and in the final session on the second day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address the newly elected MLAs.
The inaugural session will start at 11 am on January 20, the first day of the enlightenment program. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will address the inaugural session.
After this the first session will start at 1 pm. In this session, Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Satish Mahana, will give a lecture on the topic of attention notice and public importance. The second session will start at 2.50 pm.
In this session, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and in the third session, Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will give blessings. The third session will start at 4.15 pm.
The first session will start at 11 am on January 21, the second day of the enlightenment program. In this session, Assembly member and former minister Ajay Chandrakar will lecture on questions, question hour and topics arising from questions.
The second session will start at 12.15 pm. In this session, former minister and former Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Prem Prakash Pandey will give lecture on subjects like income-expenditure, discussion on grant demands, deduction proposal, account grant, supplementary grant etc.
The third session will start at 2.30 pm. In this session, Assembly member and former Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik will give a lecture on the committees and non-governmental works of the Assembly.
The fourth session will start at 4.15 pm. In this session, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will give a lecture on how to become an effective legislator.
