The moment of Ramlala’s life consecration in Ayodhya is near.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ram Lala at the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya around noon on Monday and will address the gathering present on the occasion. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has given this information.
A statement issued by the PMO said that the historic consecration ceremony will be attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects of the country.
People from different walks of life, including representatives of various tribal communities, will also participate in the celebrations, the statement said.
The Prime Minister had received an invitation from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in October 2023. The statement said that the Prime Minister will interact with the workers associated with the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
He will also visit Kuber Tila, where an ancient Shiva temple has been restored. Modi will also perform puja and darshan at the renovated temple.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has been constructed in traditional Nagar style. The temple rests on a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
Pictures of Hindu gods and goddesses are displayed on the pillars and walls of the temple. “The child form of Lord Shri Ram (idol of Shri Ramlala) is kept in the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor,” the statement said. The main entrance of the temple is located on the eastern side, which can be reached by climbing 32 steps through the Singh Gate.
