His rival and Indian-American Nikki Haley, who is running for the presidential nomination from the Republican Party, has given him a tough competition.

Major news organizations of America had declared the Republican Party’s primary election in favor of Trump with one-fourth of the votes counted. Trump got about 52.5 percent votes and Haley got 46.6 percent votes.
Political analysts say that Haley has performed better than expected. She is the only candidate standing against Trump in the Republican Party.
