Inauguration and foundation stone of development works costing more than Rs 100 crore in Bastar district

Announcement of opening of new colleges in Nagarnar and Kilepal

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is on a two-day stay in Bastar.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, during his two-day stay in Bastar today, inaugurated Siri (MRC) and Samriddhi (MRF), built at a cost of about Rs 3 crore 50 lakh, at Burundwara Semra in Jagdalpur development block.

On this occasion, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 195 development works worth Rs 100 crore 42 lakh 28 thousand in Bastar district.

This includes inauguration of 110 works costing Rs 24 crore 44 lakh 60 thousand and bhoomi pujan of 89 works costing Rs 75 crore 98 lakh 88 thousand.

During this, the Chief Minister announced the opening of a college in Nagarnar and also a college in Kilepal.

While addressing the programme, the Chief Minister wished everyone a happy Paush Punni Chherchera.

He paid tribute to the martyred freedom fighters of the country and the brave sons who sacrificed their lives to keep the Bastar region safe.

Sai said that today Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of development works worth more than Rs. 100 crores has also taken place. Swachh Bharat Mission was announced by the Prime Minister of the country, due to which toilets have been constructed in every house of the country.

He said that now even waste is used. Many things are being made from waste by recycling it.

Congratulated on the gift of Koti by the women of self-help groups who make items of daily use from waste.

The Chief Minister said that our government has been in power for only one and a half months but we have followed Modi ji’s guarantee. We took oath on 13 December and on 14 December itself we had decided to provide houses to 18 lakh people.

On Good Governance Day, we transferred two years’ outstanding paddy bonus of Rs 3716 crore to the accounts of farmers. The future of our children was at stake.

There was a scam in PSC. Prime Minister Modi ji had said that action will be taken on this. We have recommended a CBI inquiry, action will definitely be taken against whoever is found guilty.

He said that Tendupatta Collector Bonus Scheme will also be started soon, in which collectors will also be eligible for a bonus of Rs 4500.

Chief Minister Sai said that every guarantee of Modi will be fulfilled and we are committed for that.

He said that Ram Lalla was consecrated in Ayodhya on January 22. We will provide darshan of Ramlala to the people of Chhattisgarh at government expense, for this Ramlala Darshan Scheme is being started.

In the program organized in Burundwara Semra, the Chief Minister provided 83 e-rickshaws to Swachhata Didis. Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, a loan of Rs 30 crore was also distributed to the members of women self-help groups.

On this occasion, former MP Dinesh Kashyap, MLA Chitrakote Vinayak Goyal, former MLA Santosh Bafna, Commissioner Shyam Dhavde, IG Sundarraj P., Collector Vijay Dayaram K., Superintendent of Police Shashimohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Prakash Sarve and other distinguished guests and public representatives were present.
