Gyanguri center inaugurated after renovation in Jagdalpur
A new science school was also inaugurated for science education.
Preparation for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, CUT is done in Gyanguri.
Students will now get better facilities for studying science
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, during his visit to Bastar today, inspected the smart class room and science school of Gyanguri after inaugurating the Gyan Gudi built at a cost of Rs 25 lakh and the science school newly constructed at a cost of Rs 45 lakh at Dharampura in Jagdalpur. During this, he came face to face with the children studying in Gyanguri. While congratulating the children on Chherchera Punni and Republic Day in advance, he encouraged them to study with full dedication and hard work.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while answering the questions of the children of Gyan Gudi, said that education is the basic mantra of development. Education is not just about getting a degree but it plays an important role in becoming a good social worker, doing good business, doing good farming and progressing in all fields.

Assurance of increasing seats in medical college
When asked by Aishwarya Nair, the Chief Minister said that earlier too, Dr. Raman Singh’s government had done a lot of work for education in remote rural areas, created education hubs in Bastar division, which even the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated. Now that our government has been formed again for the fourth time, we will make better efforts in this direction. The Chief Minister assured to consider the suggestion of Ankita Thakur for increasing the seats in Jagdalpur Medical College.

Prepare for exams stress free
Regarding reducing the fear of examination, the Chief Minister asked Kanchan Yadav in Chhattisgarhi that the Prime Minister of our country Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister who continuously discusses with the students and provides them guidance for studies and examinations. In this series, again on January 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the students and discuss the examination. The Chief Minister inspired the children to prepare for the examination without stress or fear and to achieve their goals without any fear or apprehension.

New education policy will bring change
While sharing his views with the children of Gyangudi, the Chief Minister said that till now Lord Macaulay’s English education policy was in force, but the new education policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will bring a lot of changes in education. With this, children will get practical and vocational education including digital education and children will move towards self-employment and entrepreneurship in future. In the new education policy, facilities for yoga and physical education including sports will be provided. This new education policy will reduce the pressure on the parents of children.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai presented a check of Rs 1 lakh each in 17 cases under the Student Insurance Scheme. In the programme, he released compilation books of questions and answers of class 10th Science and 12th Agriculture Science, 12th Biology, 12th Class Chemistry and 12th Physics written by the teachers of Gyan Gudi.
His portrait was presented to the Chief Minister
In the programme, student Radhakrishna presented his portrait to Chief Minister Sai. The Chief Minister praised the student’s skill and thanked him. On this occasion, former MP Dinesh Kashyap, MLA Chitrakote Vinayak Goyal, former MLA Santosh Bafna and many public representatives, teachers and students were present.
Gudi is made to increase knowledge
In the local dialect of Bastar, knowledge acquisition means learning and understanding and Gudi is known as a holy place. This is the reason why the places of worship here are recognized as Gudi. Keeping this sacred thought of the people of Bastar in mind, this temple of knowledge i.e. Gyangudi has been built for children.
Gyanguri Academy is being run with the aim of preparing the needy and talented school children of Bastar district and division for competitive examinations like NEET, JEE, CUT, ICAR, PAT, PPHT, BAC Nursing. For this Gyan Gudi institution, the education department building has been renovated and given a new look by the administration. Two smart classes, a small auditorium and library facilities are being provided in the new building.
A science school has been built near Gyanguri, in which various models and exhibits of science are kept. Due to which the children studying in Gyanguri will get better facilities for studying science. Also, children will be able to increase their understanding of science by doing small experiments through laboratory.
