Dear sisters, brothers and children,

Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on Republic Day!
In the golden age of India, a golden link is being added in the form of 75th Republic Day. This auspicious occasion is the biggest festival of the success of the great Constitution of our country. On this occasion, I salute all the great leaders and personalities who have taken the country to this glorious position by doing excellent work in various fields.
First of all, I pay my respects to the great sons of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, Veer Gundadhoor, who connected our state with the national movement and awakened the ideals like sacrifice, justice and equality in the entire Chhattisgarh. . He had recorded the leading contribution of tribal areas in the development of national consciousness. Later, following this path, many heroes and patriots of the state played an important role in the freedom struggle and contributed to the development of the state and the country. I respectfully salute all such personalities.

We, the people of India, made our Constitution and ourselves enacted and surrendered this Constitution. The foundation stone of India’s bright future was laid on 26 January 1950, with the enactment of our Constitution. Our Constitution is the best Constitution in the world, made keeping in mind the experiences of the past, the needs of the present and the challenges of the future. The journey of 75 years shows that we have established ourselves as a successful democratic republic. Today I solemnly remember Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and all the members of the Constituent Assembly, who showed the path to our republic by drafting the Constitution with their collective wisdom.
Our Constitution provides all citizens with the right to socio-economic and political justice, freedom of thought, expression, belief, religion and worship, equality of status and opportunity. In this way, the flag of India’s identity, success and unprecedented achievements as a democratic republic is flying all over the world.

Due to the policies, schemes, programs and campaigns of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has achieved great success in all fields in the last decade or so, due to which on one hand every countryman is proud and on the other hand And the whole world has recognized India’s iron power. India is now leading the world in many fields. The glory story of our Republic has given new wings to the development of the country and the state.
Our national leadership and the then Honorable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji had provided wings of development to the people of Chhattisgarh by giving the status of a separate state to Chhattisgarh. Thus, the development journey started in Chhattisgarh from 1 November 2000.
What is of utmost importance in a republic is respect for the wishes and aspirations of the general public, respect for the dignity of every individual, identification of the needs of every citizen and conduct of government policies, plans and programs accordingly. I feel very happy and proud to say that the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has served the country in the last 9 years has established his popularity, justice and leadership abilities not only in India but also in the world. Is. He has attracted the attention of the whole world with his thinking of world welfare along with public welfare.
Giving first priority to the plight of the homeless, it was said that in the first meeting of the cabinet of the new government, a decision will be taken to provide housing to the deprived beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. We did what we said. In the first cabinet, it was decided that about 18 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) will be given permanent houses. In this way, we will also contribute to achieving the goal of providing a roof over the head of every homeless person in the country.
Along with the Prime Minister’s residence, we had promised to provide drinking water to every household in Chhattisgarh under the Ghar-Ghar Nirmal Jal Abhiyan. We have made arrangements for additional funds to achieve the set target as soon as possible.
On the occasion of ‘Good Governance Day’, the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the father of the state of Chhattisgarh, a promise was made regarding the lump sum payment of the outstanding bonus of 2 years of paddy purchase, regarding the prosperity and well-being of the farmers. We fulfilled this promise on the due date and transferred a lump sum amount of Rs 3,716 crore to the bank accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers.
Under ‘Krishak Unnati Yojana’, we have implemented this system by issuing orders to purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre. To improve the system, paddy is being purchased through biometric authentication in online paddy purchasing centres. Payment has been arranged within 48 hours, which has been successful to a great extent.
You will remember that Krishak Jeevan Jyoti Yojana was the contribution of our previous government, which had brought prosperity in the lives of farmers. Their irrigation facilities and production capacity had greatly increased due to the supply of free electricity. As soon as the government was formed, we reviewed this scheme and found that this system of providing free electricity to the farmers has proved to be very effective, to make it more effective, an additional amount of Rs 1,123 crore has been approved.
Farmer brothers and sisters, we are fully aware of the huge problems you have to face in your life. Your hard work and sacrifice is priceless. I assure that we will continuously pay attention to agriculture and all related areas and will continue to solve the problems.

Arrangements will be made to provide benefits to the farmers of the state.
Saluting the mother power, I want to say that we will take every possible step for the respect, self-respect, self-reliance and safety of mothers, sisters and daughters. Appropriate schemes for their health, education and nutrition will also be implemented effectively. We have started an initiative towards fulfilling the promise of providing annual financial assistance of Rs 12 thousand under Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
We are aware of the concerns of students and youth. This is the reason why efforts are being made to streamline the process of all the major examinations of Chhattisgarh PSC on the lines of UPSC. We have decided to get the PSC case investigated by CBI. Our government has started testing at multiple levels to ensure transparency and quality of all major examinations. We will take comprehensive initiatives on all subjects like education, personality development, values, health, employment etc. for the secure future of the children and youth.
It is our good fortune that a mega campaign is being run in the state through Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the objective of which is to reach every deprived and weak person of the state and provide them the benefits of various schemes as per their eligibility. This yatra is reaching all the 11 thousand 654 gram panchayats and 170 urban bodies of the state. The Government of India is reaching out to the eligible beneficiaries of all the public welfare schemes and making them aware about the schemes related to them. Apart from this, benefits of schemes are also being provided at the site.
This great campaign is helping in the socio-economic empowerment of the weaker sections. On the occasion of Republic Day, I congratulate this great public welfare initiative of the Prime Minister, which has become a medium for empowerment of every citizen.
Not only this, Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan (PM-Janman) is also being implemented targeting the most backward communities of the society. In the state, especially the vulnerable tribal groups Baiga, Kamar, Pahari Korwa, Birhor and Abujhmadiya are being worked on 11 goals by 9 Central Ministries through PM-Janman so that the deprivation left in the people of these communities and their habitations. are there, they can be resolved.

Apart from this, the state government is committed to effectively run various schemes for the development of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and minority communities. Every possible effort will be made to strengthen their means of livelihood using tendu leaves and other forest produce and to provide better infrastructure in their residential areas.
I thank the people of the state, with whose cooperation Chhattisgarh has got the title of the third cleanest state in the country. I would like that your dedication and awareness on all the parameters of cleanliness should continuously increase. We have to take the state to the pinnacle of cleanliness so that everyone gets more benefits from various efforts to improve the standard of living.
To deal with the worldwide disaster of Covid-19, keeping in mind that no needy family should face nutritional problems, the Central Government had started a scheme to provide free food grains. Now under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, arrangements have been made to supply free rice till December 2028. In Chhattisgarh, under this scheme, 67 lakh 94 thousand Antyodaya, Priority, single destitute and disabled ration card holders will be given rice of monthly entitlement.
To make the public distribution system effective, transparent and convenient, ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme has been started, in which beneficiaries have the facility to get ration material from any ration shop of their choice.
So far, more than 36 lakh new gas connections have been issued in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The missing eligible beneficiaries are being given Ujjwala gas connections by conducting a special campaign during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. This scheme has greatly improved the health, comfort and self-respect of women.
Our Chhattisgarh is a state of religion, spirituality and culture. Every region here has some special characteristics, respecting which a common culture has developed in the state. Our government will follow the path of harmonious development while respecting the beliefs of all castes, religions and communities.

Respecting the people’s curiosity and immense devotion towards the life and sanctity of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya Dham, our government has decided to start ‘Ramlala Darshan Scheme’, under which every year thousands of people come to Ayodhya Dham and Kashi. Pilgrimage will be conducted to Vishwanath Dham, Prayagraj.
Chhattisgarh has all the necessary elements like cultural heritage, natural resources, opportunities for tourism development, traditional knowledge and skills, hardworking and intelligent people, will to adapt to new possibilities, courage to face new challenges. There is a need to move in the right direction through good governance. Naxalism and various types of crimes, violence and injustice should be stopped rapidly. According to the spirit of the Constitution, all areas and all sections of the people should get adequate opportunities for development. Every possible step should be taken for service, good governance, security and development so that the process of increasing income and upgrading the living standards of all Chhattisgarh people moves forward rapidly.

Brothers and sisters, the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the pioneer of Integral Humanism, is embedded in our consciousness, which keeps us conscious of the goals of human religion, while our unwavering devotion towards Lord Ram is our identity. We follow ‘Raghukul tradition has always been there, life is lost but words are not lost’. Our government is ready to fulfill every promise. I have full confidence that with your love, cooperation and support, we will fulfill every dream of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and the people of Chhattisgarh.
