School Education Department Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi has said that SCERT has an important role in preparing teachers for the new courses in the National Education Policy-2020 and implementing the provisions of the new education policy.
Secretary Pardeshi was addressing the review meeting of officers after the flag hoisting at SCERT office yesterday.
School Education Secretary Pardeshi said that we all have to prepare the curriculum for the new education policy by working through team work.
This curriculum will determine the future of children for many years to come. While preparing the curriculum, it needs to be kept in mind that it will not only prepare the future of the children, but will also create the future of the country. It will also help in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s resolve of a developed India.
Secretary Pardeshi said that it is the responsibility of all the teachers to give the best education to the future generation to make them good citizens and for this to inculcate discipline in the children and make them cultured.
He said that even the oldest and smallest person in the society wish that their children get good education and values and in future, they bring glory to the family, society and country. The responsibility of a teacher is to shape the future generation.
The program was organized by Managing Director of Samagra Shiksha, Sanjeev Kumar Jha, Additional Director of SCERT, Jaiprakash Rath and Additional Mission Director of Samagra. C. Kabra also addressed.
The program was conducted by State Media Center Nodal Officer Prashant Pandey and vote of thanks was expressed by Deputy Director Professor Pushpa Kispotta.
On this occasion, teachers and students of B.Ed College and officials of various bodies of School Education Department were present.
