It is being said that Nitish Kumar will leave the Grand Alliance and join the NDA.

While sharing an old video of Nitish Kumar, Samajwadi leader Rajiv Rai said, “Honorable Nitish Kumar ji, we all want you to have a long life, you are a great leader of the country.
We all have hope from you that we will together fulfill the pledge you had made against BJP. You are the father of INDIA alliance, what will the public think if you turn back again?” Talking about the video being shared, Nitish had said in 2023, “I would rather die than go with them (BJP). All these things are fake… They filed cases against Tejashwi and his father without any reason to bring me to their side.”
How many times has Nitish Kumar changed sides?
It is noteworthy that in August 2022, Nitish Kumar broke his alliance with BJP and became part of the grand alliance with RJD.
He was with BJP in the 2020 elections. Nitish Kumar is known for switching sides, which started several years ago.
In 1994, he broke ties with the then Janata Dal to form the Samata Party with George Fernandes. In 1996, he joined hands with BJP and became a minister in the cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In 2003, Nitish Kumar decided to merge his Samata Party with Janata Dal and the party became Janata Dal (United).
In 2013, Nitish Kumar broke his 17-year-old alliance with the NDA in protest against Narendra Modi becoming the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate for 2014.
For the 2015 elections, Nitish Kumar formed an alliance with RJD and Congress, which he broke in 2017 and returned to the NDA.

News agency PTI quoted highly placed sources as saying that Nitish Kumar is ready to tender his resignation by Sunday morning.
There is suspense over the recent developments as to what is going to happen in the coming days in Bihar. In Bihar, RJD is looking weak in front of Nitish’s attitude.
Tejashwi Yadav has also said that he will seek shelter from the public. This means that he is ready to sit in the opposition and will try to show that RJD has betrayed Nitish and not Nitish himself.
