A case of brutal murder of a 25-year-old Indian student studying Masters in America by beating him with a hammer has come to light. The murderer attacked the head of the student of Haryana origin with a hammer not once or twice but 50 times.

The incident occurred inside a store in Lithonia, Georgia. It is being told that the person who committed the murder is a homeless person, to whom a person of Indian origin not only gave shelter but also gave food in the store.

This entire incident has been captured on camera. The student’s sister alleges that the accused had asked for a free cigarette from her brother, when he refused, he murdered her.

According to information received from the police, Vivek Saini, a student of Indian origin, was working as a clerk in the store. He allowed Julian Faulkner, a homeless man, inside the store because it was too cold outside.

Other employees at the store told police they had been harboring Faulkner for about two days. Employees gave Faulkner chips to eat, a Coke, water and a jacket, WSB-TV reported.

Employees told the news channel that they did not ask Faulkner to leave the store because they knew it was cold outside.

However, on January 16, Vivek Saini talked about ousting Faulkner from the store. Saini had also told other employees that they should contact the police in this regard.

According to police, Faulkner attacked Vivek with a hammer when he was leaving for home. An employee told that Vivek was hit on the head about 50 times.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Faulkner standing over Saini’s body with a hammer. Vivek was declared dead at the scene.

Vivek’s family members are in bad condition while crying.
According to Vivek Saini’s family in Barwala, Haryana, he had gone to the US two years ago after completing B.Tech in Computer Science from Chandigarh University.

He recently completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. Vivek’s cousin Simran told India Today that his mortal remains have reached India and his last rites have also been performed.

Simran said, “Vivek was a bright student who wanted a good job to support himself and his family. He worked in a shop and for the past several days, the person identified as Vivek’s killer used to frequently come to the shop and ask for a cigarette to smoke.

Vivek used to give him cigarettes, but that day he refused and said that if the man came to harass him again, he would call the police. Later, he came with a hammer and brutally murdered my brother.”

Simran said the murderer was a “drug addict and psychopath”. The entire family is still in shock over Vivek’s brutal death and his parents, Gurjit Singh and Lalita Saini, were in no position to talk about what happened.
