Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap today participated in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program organized in Karandola Gram Panchayat of Narayanpur district.
The 109th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was broadcast. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is an inspirational program for the entire countrymen.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while praising the work of Hemchand Manjhi of Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, said that Manjhi has been serving poor patients through AYUSH treatment for the last five decades.
The treasure of Ayurveda and herbal medicine is hidden in our country. Vaidyaraj Hemchand Manjhi ji played a big role in his patronage.
Regarding the program, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that in the last ten years, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked to give a new direction to the society by finding great personalities from every corner of the country and giving them national honours.
He said that Vaidyaraj Hemchand Manjhi of Narayanpur assembly constituency has been awarded Padmashree in the field of traditional medicine. This is a matter of pride for our region and the entire state.

Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the listeners in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that information regarding elephants is broadcasted through ‘Hamar Hathi Hamar Goth’ radio program in Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Raipur, Raigarh of Chhattisgarh.
Describing this as an exemplary initiative, Modi ji said, in which area is the herd of elephants roaming and what is the number of elephants? People get this information through radio, due to which people of the concerned area become alert and cautious. PM Modi said that such an experiment can be done in other states of the country.
More and more people should listen to Mann Ki Baat and move towards doing inspiring work.
Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap said that in the program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the inspirational work and achievements of the people of the country are presented before the entire countrymen.
