Light up of newly constructed sub station at a cost of Rs 1.76 crore

Commerce, Labor and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan inaugurated the newly constructed 33/11 KV sub-station at Kharmora in Korba district.

This sub station has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.76 crore.

While addressing the function organized on this occasion, Minister Dewangan said that with the commencement of the sub-station, the electricity problem of many wards will be completely eliminated.

Especially in Dadarkhurd, Kharmora and other wards, there will be uninterrupted power supply.

Minister Dewangan said that the sub station will provide relief from low voltage and power cuts during summer. New sub-centres are under construction at many places in the city.

It is our endeavor that all the construction be completed soon so that the problem of electricity in the entire city can be solved. 5 thousand consumers of 4 nearby wards will benefit from this sub station.

On the demand of the ward residents, Minister Dewangan directed the officers of the Distribution Department to resolve the complaints by organizing camps in the wards where there are complaints of high electricity bills.

On this occasion, public representatives along with officials of the distribution company and common citizens were present.
