School Education Secretary reviewed the implementation of PM scheme
Administrative and financial approval of the budget has been given for 211 schools being run under the PM scheme in Chhattisgarh.
Reviewing the implementation of the scheme, School Education Secretary Siddharth Komal Pardeshi said that the PM Shri Scheme launched by the Central Government is a top priority of the State Government.
All necessary arrangements should be made in the schools selected for PM Shri Yojana. For the construction of buildings, construction agencies should be identified at the district level and funds should be transferred to the construction agencies.
He instructed the officials to continuously monitor these schools.
It is noteworthy that under the PM (Prime Minister’s School for Rising India) scheme, selected schools will be upgraded, under which facilities like smart classes, libraries, sports equipment, laboratories etc. will be developed.
In Chhattisgarh, 211 schools have been selected under the PM scheme.
These include 193 schools at elementary level, 18 schools at secondary and higher secondary level. These schools will also provide mentorship in nearby schools.
School Education Secretary Pardeshi said that the PM should release the required amount within 15 days for quality implementation of the scheme and within a week, hold a meeting of the principals and inform the Managing Director Samagra Shiksha.
He said that the District Education Officer and the District Mission Coordinator should work in harmony. Monitor all the schools yourself, giving priority to aspirational districts. He also gave instructions to immediately pay the honorarium of the teachers teaching in the kindergarten.
School Education Secretary Pardeshi said that the schools started under the PM scheme include vending machines, sanitary pads, self-defense training, adolescent programs, career counseling, annual school grant, green school, sports, yoga, sports teacher training, social educator, Gave necessary guidelines for implementation of activities like inclusive education.
