Sports Minister Tankram Verma today participated in the second day of the seven-day state level sports and cultural festival ‘Aarohan-2024’ organized at Rawatpura Government University.

On this occasion, he said that along with education, values are important in our life.
Along with taking a degree in education, moral, practical and sports education is also necessary.
While motivating the players, he said that work hard without waiting for time, time will also wait after seeing the hard work.

Sports are not just about winning or losing, but playing is important.
Along with studies, sports and cultural activities are also very important for student life.
Sports improve physical and mental health. Sports teaches us that defeat is also necessary, defeat gives us an opportunity to make up for our shortcomings.
On this occasion, he inaugurated the studio of the Journalism and Public Relations Department in the university. Awarded medals and citations to the victorious participants of sports and cultural events.

It may be noted that in the seven-day long ‘Aarohan-2024’, about 4000 participants from across the country will take part in various sports competitions including archery, football, volleyball, basketball as well as singing and dancing competitions.
