Demand of farmers of Kotkud fulfilled, got relief from the problem of transportation of paddy… – NNSP

With the special initiative of the Collector, the paddy procurement center was shifted from Matla ‘B’ to Amabeda.

Keeping in view the convenience of the farmers, the state government has given the facility to shift the paddy procurement center from one place to another center.

Similarly, the demand of the farmers of Kotkud village of Antagarh tehsil located in the forest area of ​​the district has been fulfilled, due to which they have got relief from the big problem of transportation of paddy.

The food officer said that all the farmers of Kotkud village were registered in the paddy procurement center Matla ‘B’ of Primitive Caste Service Cooperative Society Limited Amabeda.

Since the distance of the paddy procurement center Matla ‘B’ from Gram Panchayat Kotkud is 45 kilometers, the farmers were demanding to attach the nearby paddy procurement center Amabeda, which is only 05 kilometers from here.

He said that keeping in mind the convenience of farmers to sell their paddy at Amabeda procurement center, Collector Mr. Abhijit Singh took prompt cognizance and corresponded with the competent higher officials in this regard and informed them about the problems of the farmers.

Taking the above demand seriously, the government got the registration of all the farmers of village Kotkud transferred from paddy procurement center Matla ‘B’ to paddy procurement center Amabeda.

The farmers of village Kotkud were informed by the committee manager and employees of Primitive Caste Service Cooperative Society Limited Amabeda. Also, on January 30 and February 01, 734.40 quintals of paddy was purchased in 43.60 hectare area by easily issuing tokens to all the farmers at the paddy procurement center Amabeda.

The farmers of Kotkud village are very happy with the new arrangement made by the government. The farmers here have expressed their gratitude to the Chhattisgarh government and the district administration for shifting the transportation of paddy from village Matla B to Amabeda, i.e. covering the distance of 45 kilometers in 05 kilometers.

Besides, thanks have also been given to the staff and clerks of the committee.
