Detailed discussion on the schemes of Panchayat and Rural Development Department
A review meeting was held in the District Panchayat Assembly Hall under the chairmanship of Collector Rohit Vyas regarding the progress of the works of MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
In the meeting, the actual status of progress of Gram Panchayat wise schemes was discussed in detail. In which information was obtained on points like man days created against the target under MNREGA, review of based payments, time bound wage payment, man days created by women, families getting 100 days employment, Amrit Sarovar construction work.
The topic of deepening the pond was discussed. In which the Collector gave instructions to the District CEO to inspect the work site regularly.
Information was taken regarding the progress of sanctioned houses in all the Gram Panchayats of the district under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural.
In which he reviewed the targeted approved houses and took detailed information about the works of completed-incomplete houses, pending houses and GO tagging.
During this, he instructed the concerned officials to continuously monitor the construction work of the Prime Minister’s residence and complete all the pending housing construction at the earliest.
Along with this, the status of cleanliness works being done in rural areas under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin was discussed in detail.
In which the concerned officers were directed to work in a planned manner to increase the number of ODF Plus villages.
District Panchayat CEO Ms. Leena Kosam and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
