Last date to apply for Mahtari Vandan Yojana is 20th February

With the aim of promoting women empowerment, the state government will implement Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state from March 1, 2024.

The work of filling the form has started from 05 February.

Collector Langeh held a meeting of the concerned officers and gave necessary guidelines for the successful implementation of the scheme so that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of this scheme.

It is known that under this scheme, local residents and married women of Chhattisgarh state will be eligible.

The age of the married woman should not be less than 21 years on 1st January of the calendar year of application i.e. the year in which the application is being made.

Widow, divorced, abandoned women will also be eligible for the scheme.

Under the scheme, Rs 1000 per month will be paid to the eligible woman through DBT.

Women receiving pension from social assistance programmes, various pension schemes, if the pension amount is less than Rs 1000, the remaining difference will be paid.

Registration of online and offline applications has started on 5 February 2024 under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The last date for receipt of applications is 20 February 2024.

The final list will be released on 21 February 2024. Objections to the final list can be made from 21 to 25 February 2024. The objection will be resolved from 26 to 29 February 2024.

The final list will be published on March 1, 2024 and the acceptance letter will be issued on March 5, 2024 and the amount will be transferred to the eligible female beneficiary on March 8, 2024.

To avail the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, self attested passport size photograph, residence certificate in case of local resident, ration card or voter identity card document, own and husband’s Aadhar card, if any, own and husband’s PAN. Card, marriage certificate, certificate issued by Gram Panchayat and local bodies will be required.

In case of widowhood, death certificate of husband, in case of abandonment, certificate issued by society, ward, gram panchayat will have to be submitted.

Birth certificate, mark sheet of class 10th or 12th or transfer certificate, PAN card, voter ID card, driving license will have to be submitted.

The eligible beneficiary will have to submit bank account details and photocopy of bank passbook and self-declaration form and affidavit.
