A court here has sentenced a brutal father who raped minor daughters to 123 years of imprisonment.
Also imposed a fine of around Rs 9 lakh.
The case dates back to 2022, when a complaint was received from minor sisters to the police that their father had been sexually abusing them for a year. The whole country was shocked when this incident came to light.
The court sentenced a Kalyugi father, who brutally assaulted his two daughters, to 123 years in prison in Malappuram city of Kerala. The case was heard by the fast track special court of Manjeri.
The incident is said to have taken place between 2021 and 2022. According to the victim girls, their father had been doing such heinous acts with them for a year. The sisters were 11 and 12 years old at the time of the incident.
The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 8.85 lakh on the father convicted of rape. The court, while hearing this case at the fast track level, has found the father guilty on the basis of evidence and evidence.
This is not the first time. In December 2023, a 25-year-old man was sentenced to 189 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing two minor boys and their minor sister for over three years in Kasaragod, Kerala.
