Secretary of Tribal Caste Department reviewed departmental schemes through video conferencing.
Secretary of Tribal Development Department, Shri Narendra Kumar Dugga held a meeting with state level departmental officers through video conferencing and gave instructions to complete the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana on priority within the time limit.
He said that PM should work with full concentration in achieving the goals of Janman Yojana. Mobile app survey data should be updated.
It should be ensured that Aadhaar card, ration card, Jan Dhan account, Ayushman card, caste certificate, residence certificate and other basic facilities are provided to the beneficiaries by setting up camps near the settlements of Special Backward Tribal Groups (PVTG) of the state.
Along with this, instructions were also given to provide Forest Rights Certificates to all the beneficiaries soon.
In video conferencing, officials said that about 50 percent of the targets that can be quickly accomplished under PM Janman Yojana have been completed so far. Coordinated efforts are being made to fulfill the remaining targets. These will be received soon.
It is noteworthy that under PM Janman Yojana, 11 important activities are to be implemented through 9 central ministries. These activities include provision of pucca houses, pucca roads, tap water, community based drinking water, construction of hostels, mobile medical units, nutrition through Anganwadi centres, construction of multipurpose centres, electrification of houses (through grid and solar power). ), establishment of Van Dhan Kendras, availability of internet and mobile services and skill development for livelihood promotion.
Secretary Shri Dugga said that the main goal of this scheme is the complete development of special backward tribal groups and their habitations.
The implementation of all these activities is to be completed in a mission mode within a period of three years and all the settlements should be strengthened infrastructurally as per the requirement.
To accomplish this, instructions were given to work in coordination with all concerned departments. The District Assistant Commissioner, Project Administrator and other concerned departmental officers were present in the meeting.
