Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that Jashpur will become a sickle cell free district.
He said that every possible effort will be made to save the future generation from this disease.
It is noteworthy that 100% screening is being done to prevent this disease in Jashpur district.
On the initiative of the district administration, all necessary arrangements have been made for the treatment of patients suffering from this disease.
Along with the arrangements for admission and treatment of patients, arrangements for blood supply, if required, have also been made in the district hospital, so that the patients can get better treatment facilities.
On this occasion, the District Medical and Health Officer said that detailed information was given through a power point presentation regarding the arrangements being made for the treatment of sickle cell in the district.
He told that the volunteers of Sickle Cell in the district are making people aware about Sickle Cell.
