Mahanadi Aarti will be organized for the first time
The three-day Sirpur Mahotsav will be organized from 24 to 26 February in the historical, religious and archaeological city of Sirpur of Chhattisgarh. Preparations for the three-day festival to be held in Sirpur are in full swing.
This time laser show and presentation of Indian Idol fame will be the main attractions in Sirpur Mahotsav. Mahanadi Aarti will be organized for the first time during the festival.
Along with this, local folk artists will present their art every day from 4 to 6 pm.
There will be a variety of local and Chhattisgarhi level cultural programs in Sirpur Mahotsav. For this, renowned folk art forums of the state are being contacted. Famous artistes of the state including famous singer Aaru Sahu, renowned singer Sunil Soni and others are being contacted.
Indian Idol fame Abhijeet Sawant is also likely to perform. Apart from this, preparations are underway to show the archaeological history of the cultural and historical city of Sirpur through a laser show.
Mahanadi Aarti will be organized for the first time during the festival, preparation instructions have also been given for this. Welcome gates will also be built at various places. Attractive lighting will be done in temples.
Elaborate arrangements are being made for cleanliness, parking, toilets, drinking water etc. at the venue of Sirpur Mahotsav. Bathing ponds are also being built for the devotees.
The Collector also gave instructions to prepare an action plan for a permanent market shed and other development works at the festival site. He has given instructions for lighting the street lights installed on the roads. Asked to repair the roads within the festival complex.
