Investigators in Ukraine claim that Hwasong-11 missiles fired by Russia – also known as KN-23 and KN-24 – have killed at least 24 civilians in Ukraine and injured at least 100 Have been injured.
According to a statement, the SBU also recovered debris resembling a KN-23 ballistic missile. This has confirmed that North Korea is supporting Putin in this war.
The SBU said Russia first recorded the use of North Korean missiles on December 30, 2023, during shelling in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhia region. It added that the next attack by North Korean missiles was recorded in Kiev in early January. According to the security service, four residents of an apartment building in Kiev were killed and more than 50 people were seriously injured. The Russians also used North Korean missiles to shell five villages in the Donetsk region in February, killing 17 civilians.
